Gilbert is one of the clearest lakes around
.  Yes, the sun on a boat wake is "diamonds on the water."
For the good of everyone, please clean off weeds and drain water from your boat before entering and after leaving the waters of Gilbert Lake.
We all need to do that for the future of the lake and those who use it.
Gilbert lake has fishing for young and old alike.

Tom Schneider and his dog Max are often seen out on Gilbert Lake in their pontoon boat named Lucky Lady.
You'll also see them in winter in their fish house.  They are Inseparable.  As they say, a dog's best friend is his man!

Charles O'Day is often seen ice fishing.

Paula Persons, on the right, is out regularly for exercise.
