Gilbert Lake Association
Membership - All lake residents should belong

The Gilbert Lake Association is a group of lake residents interested in the wise recreational use of this natural resource while preserving water quality.  Gilbert Lake covers 369 acres with 7.8 miles of shoreline and a maximum depth of 45 feet.  There is a public landing on the north side of the lake on Gilbert Lake Road.  Fish include Northern Pike, Blue Gill, Bass, and Crappie.

The Gilbert Lake level has been rising.  In 2019, the lake level is 2.2 feet above a previous recorded high in 1996.  A Department of Natural Resources .pdf graph shows the history.  Monthly Precipitation Totals

Meetings are planned in 2020 to discuss a proposal to control lake level.  All lake residents should be a part of this decision making process.  Please send in a Member Application.

Also, funding is needed by the Gilbert Lake Association for signs, marker buoys, insurance, a proposed project to control lake level and much more.
